North Carolina

BELL piloted its first summer learning program in North Carolina in 2009 at the invitation of a middle school in Charlotte. In 2011, BELL received a Social Innovation Fund grant from the Corporation for National and Community Service and the Edna McConnell Clark Foundation to further expand its summer learning programs in the state. In 2012, BELL was invited by Project L.I.F.T. in Charlotte and Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools to expand learning time in the summer.  Later that year, BELL launched its after school program with Project L.I.F.T.

In 2013, BELL is delivering its summer learning program in partnership with Project L.I.F.T. in Charlotte and with Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools.

BELL’s programs are free for parents whose children attend partner schools. Request information about enrollment opportunities for your child.
