In 2011, we received a Social Innovation Fund grant from the Corporation for National and Community Service and the Edna McConnell Clark Foundation to expand our summer learning programs and partnerships in new states, including California.  We worked with schools in San Rafael and San Jose to launch summer learning programs in 2012, followed by after-school programs in the 2012-2013 school year.   In 2014, we started our first school partnerships and programs in Oakland, and in 2015 we tested a new partnership with a school and a nonprofit affordable housing development agency in San Bernadino.

We welcome opportunities to build new partnerships and expand learning time in schools and communities throughout the state.
